1.What Culm is
Culm is a habit tracker. You plant habits, check in, and see each habit grow as a bamboo stalk. It is a tool for your own motivation; it does not give medical, health or professional advice.
2.Plans
- Seedling is free: up to 3 active habits, every growth rule, and joining shared groves.
- The Grove plan adds as many habits as you like, sync across phones, full history and CSV export, and starting shared groves. It is sold as a yearly subscription, a monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency. If the Grove plan ends, habits beyond 3 rest with every kept week intact, and you choose which stay active. Subscribing again wakes them.
3.Subscriptions, trial and cancellation
- The yearly subscription includes a 14-day free trial for people who have not had it before. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the first year is charged.
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, or when the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- You manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your Culm account does not cancel them.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.
4.Your account
You can use Culm without an account. To sync or use shared groves you sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for the account you sign in with. You can delete your Culm account at any time in the app under You → Account → Delete account.
5.Shared groves
In a shared grove, other members see the grove name, your display name, your stalk and this week’s count. Use names that are respectful and lawful. The person who started a grove can remove members and make a new invite code. We may remove groves or names that break these terms.
6.Your content and data
What you enter in the app is yours. We process it only to provide the app, as described in the privacy policy.
7.Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: no attempts to access other people’s data, disrupt the service, reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use it for anything unlawful.
8.Availability and changes
We work to keep Culm running and your data safe, but cannot promise the app will always be available or free of errors. We may change or improve features. If we ever discontinue the app, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
9.Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss or for loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
10.Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If we disagree, we will first try to solve it together. As a consumer you can also contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet), the consumer authority where you live, or bring the matter before your local courts.
11.Changes to these terms
We update these terms when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
